So you're saying you've been a bit loopy lately? Saturating yourself for a while with a new toy, especially one concerning your profession is NOT going overboard. It is doing due diligence and figuring out what this new 'toy' can do for you and how best to implement it. I've noticed most people put the backing track stuff in the looper first, leaving the stuff with all the pizzaz for the real time non recorded overlay. If you have a mic you can also add percussion, vocal effects, etc. Here's a pretty good example of what I am talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SywaUbg5wU&list=PLk6dVe55hDrv7pleflevyRZITzl9LA0D2&index=3 Pretty decent machine he smacking and pounding on here, too. I've noticed looper tend to get barefooted pretty quickly, and get quite adept and turning knobs and pushing buttons with their feet. Adam's reaction at 6:54 is funny. Isn't a mistake you just decide to repeat and build on called jazz? This is a violin loop, but it's pretty cool, as well, I thought: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6IByYBP0B8

I could listen to Nahre and Adem+Jeff+Joe jamming out with a looping pedal for years. This got me inspired, so I need to get a looping pedal to dig into that. That little keyboard sounds surprisingly good too, and a lot more portable than my Rhodes :) What is this thing?
Guhl Mustafa9 Months ago
I'd be interested to see you revisit this with that keyboard and one of the ipad loopers or samplers. Cool video.

Though you don't need a loop pedal. You can just turn the time of the delay all the way up. But of course if you also need delay then a loop pedal is ideal.
