Hello - Best, nicely made Arduino vides on the web. Question: Can the master be configured not poll the slave but rather only take action (in my case write to a spot on the LCD that it has been connected to) only when the salve has data to give? The master is very busy controlling a servo via rotary encoder and logic and needs to be relived of as much distraction as possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. BobJ

Can I use the second Ardunio for L29 motor driver and how will the mpu 6050 be integrated as there are only two pins 4 and 5 for I2c will I parallel it with the lines of Arduino 4 ,5 I want more digital pins for my project

I want to read 8 rotary encoders simultaneously. Each encoder is a quadrature encoder with 2400 counts per revolution. Two interrupt pins are required to read the direction and position of each encoder. In total, I require 16 interrupt pins. But Arduino mega has only 6 interrupt pins. Should I use 2 Arduino mega as slave and 1 Arduino as Master in I2C communication ? Will this alternative work ? Is there any easy alternative to this problem ?

Love your videos. Thank you. I use cheap Chinese Arduino UNO's. I had to put in the pull up resistors to 5V before communications could work. Thank you.
